My Story

Meet Big Sur!

He is a very good boy! His foster Mom thinks he may be a Golden/Great Pyr or GSD mix. He is good with other dogs, but would probably not be a good fit with a very dominant dog, as he can be a little assertive. He is very active, until he is not!

So basically, he has 2 speeds… Full on, and full stop! He is fine with dog savvy cats. He is gentle with dogs under 10 lbs and tolerates puppy shenanigans like a trooper.

He loves toys and is rarely without one. It doesn’t matter what kind it is, he just needs something in his mouth at all times. I would not suggest he go to a home with teacup humans as he puts his mouth on everything!! He would love his people to include him in everything as he loves to be by your side.

We are working on training and he does an amazing sit, but he will bolt out a door like a gazelle with a lion after it! He likes being in his crate and when he is tired or just wants alone time with his toy, that’s where we find him.

A tall physical fence is required!
