My Story

Meet Bernadette! This lovely lady is 5 years old and 93lbs and gaining. Her favorite thing is people and receiving all the attention and pets she can muster you to provide. She’s big on laying next to you to be within hand reach of pets, belly rubs, and anything involving socializing with people.

Cats are a hard pass so she will need a home without the felines. Bernadette would love a place to crash where she can receive oodles of pets and snuggles. She would be fine sharing her home with dogs who are chill and not going to pester her to play, as she is not interested in playing or engaging with other dogs. She is fine chilling with them and hanging in their presence, but so far has zero interest in playing with dogs or toys. Bernadette is housebroken and walks well on leash.

Kids over 10+ is required for this girl. Her background story is a sad one and she comes from a seriously neglectful situation before BFDR rescued her so we err on the side of caution.

If you’re looking for a large companion that would be content with being your couch potato pair while you bingewatch the latest netflix hit, this is your dog. She will not protest a leisurely stroll around the block afterward to get her exercise in, but overall she is a low-energy kind of gal.
