My Story

Please meet the amazing Archer!

Archer is a 1 year old boxer mix weighing about 58 pounds. A fun fact about Archer is he is actually a tripod meaning he only has three legs! This boy came to us after being caught in a steel trap and essentially chewed off his leg so he could escape the pain. After much medical attention, Archer is now thriving and ready to find his furever home! He had a miserable time before being rescued, but he is the happiest most affectionate and loving dog anyone could ever possibly want to meet!

Because Archer is a tripod, he does require a fenced yard as in order to get exercise, he likes to lope around the backyard. As of now, he is still slightly awkward navigating on three legs and most likely wouldn’t be a candidate for excessive walking or hikes. He does love to play though with other pups and has a very high tolerance for puppy shenanigans! Big or small – Archer will try and play with them! Archer is also cat friendly and extremely gentle so we imagine he would be good with young kids.
