My Story

Meet Apollo. He’s an awesome 4ish year old Great Pyrenees. This handsome dude came to rescue when his owners moved to California and could not take their beloved pet with them. So sad. Well, Apollo hit pay dirt and became a Big Fluffy, and is now ready for his forever home.

This handsome dog is house trained and great with people. He may seem quiet and aloof at first (he’s a Pyr after all), but does warm up quickly to his humans.

Apollo is not a fan of kids under 15. They kind of freak him out, and needs a home free of young kids. Apollo is used to sharing his home with a lady friend (I mean he is so handsome what lady dog wouldn’t want to live with him!), and we think he would do best in a home with another dog to keep him company.

Pyr rules apply to this boy. His ideal home would be with folks who know and understand the breed, and love the Great Pyrenees for all that they are because Apollo is grand, and he knows it.
