My Story

Meet the amazing Dylan. He’s a 1 year old 70ish Doodle mix who is looking for a home of his own. Dylan is tall and lanky. When he puts his paws on your shoulders, he can look right over the top of your head! This handsome young dog came to our rescue by way a rural shelter in Kentucky. He was dropped off there for… you guessed it…. being too big!

Dylan is a bouncy happy playful young dog who is looking for a family to call his own. He loves other dogs, and when he plays with them, it like watching an episode of wrestle Mania! Dylan is full of love and playfulness. He would do well with a dog of his size or larger. We think smaller dogs would definitely get squished by his goofy antics. Dylan loves cats. He thinks chasing them is super fun. While we do not think he would hurt a cat, most felines would not like his bouncy nature.

Dylan would do best in a home with older children who could withstand his tigger-like characteristics.

Dylan would do best with an active family that would love to take him on every adventure they go on. Dylan will need a family with a commitment to leash walking as Dylan can jump most fences.
