My Story

Meet Sunny — a sweet girl who is sure to light up your life!

Sunny, a 4-year-old Mountain Cur/Pyr mix, arrived at Big Fluffy with an untreated gunshot wound and a broken femur. Unfortunately, she had this injury long before coming to us and she’s suffered a bit because of it. She walks with a bit of a limp and is sensitive in her hind end, but she doesn’t let that get her down! She is a loving girl, who wants nothing but attention and affection, as somehow still trusts people after all she’s been through.

Sunny would do best in a home without other dogs, as she can be sensitive and does not like being jumped on. She may do ok with a chill male dog, but a meet and greet would be required. Additionally, homes with older children are preferred, as we want to make sure everyone in the home is aware and respectful of her sensitive hind end. She is fine with dog savvy cats.

Sunny walks well on a leash and would be a great companion to stroll around your neighborhood. She likely won’t hold up for long hikes though. She is also fine going on walks with other dogs.
