My Story

Chrissy is about a 6 month old pyr/aussie doodle mix (maybe?) weighing about 40 pounds and still growing! This pup is an absolute heathen in the best way possible and will never fail to make you laugh even when you’re mad at her! Because of her mix and her age, she is going to need patient adopters that are dedicated to continuing her training and socialization so that she can grow up into the best girl possible.

Despite having long white fur, Chrissy absolutely adores getting down and dirty. She is very talented at liquifying her bones and just flopping around outside whether that be while romping around with another pup or simply entertaining herself with a ball or a leaf. And as in Chrissy’s pyr nature, she can’t hear you when you tell her to avoid the mud puddles no matter how loud you yell! They just look so fun to flop around in!

Chrissy’s ideal home is with people that are home more often than not as she’s not a huge fan of being left alone for long periods of time. She would also benefit from a doggy friend to help expend some energy as well as someone to keep her company! She is cat friendly but because of her bounciness and friendliness, the felines will have to be tolerant of her being in their business. The same goes for kids! She loves all people no matter the size but with her bounciness, she would do best with sturdy toddlers who can withstand her excitement levels! She would also benefit from a fenced yard so she can explore and honor her pyr ancestors by guarding the property and alerting her humans of the squirrel nesting in the tree two blocks over!
