My Story

Please meet the adorable Giggles!

This sweet 11lb, 14-week girl is part Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher which makes sense all the way from the adorable floppy ears of a dachshund, to the tiny little noises she makes and how she uses those long legs of a minpin!

Giggles loves toys and stealing anything she can get her mouth on but not in a malicious way. She just has the heart of a hoarder and wants to keep everything she finds as reminders of how great her life has turned into since coming to Big Fluffy! After being a part of a hoarding case with 20 other abandoned little pups, Giggles is enjoying the life of luxury by hiding her toys in the couch cushions to save for playtime later!

Giggles is incredibly affectionate which is shown through her love for cuddling and being close to her humans. Giggles would love to be with her people at all times and wouldn’t mind hanging out in a purse or a sling if that means she can be with her humans!

Giggles has absolutely no prey drive and is living in a home with other dogs and 3 free roaming bunnies. Because of that, we imagine that she would have no issues with feline roommates! She does great at night sleeping in her crate with no accidents surrounded by her hoard of toys. She is working on potty training in that she is good at going outside when taken out but hasn’t learned the art of asking to go out when it is needed. She is potty pad trained.

Because of being abandoned at a young age, Giggles is unsure when meeting new people. It takes her time to warm up to people, but once she does, she will be your best friend. Giggles would do best in a home without little kids or a low-traffic household where she can spend her days free of worry. Giggles would also benefit from a doggy friend as she gains confidence from watching others do dog things!
