My Story

Meet Colt, BFDR’s newest Tri-pawd!

Colt is a ~1 year old Labrador mix on the small side at 35 lbs. This sweet dog was shot in the leg, which resulted in an amputation to give him the best quality of life. He’s becoming a great navigator of life on 3 wheels!

Although new to living life in a home, Colt has a kind disposition and is learning the life of luxury very quickly. He loves people and gets along well with other dogs. His canine companions likely should not be rough and tumble linebackers as Colt is still figuring out his stability.

His ideal home has people with hearts of patience, in-home flooring with traction (or the ability to put some mats down to help with slipping), and preferably minimal stairs to get outside to go potty.

Located in Nashville, TN and can travel to any of our Petfinder locations!
