My Story

Say hello to Jake, the 70-pound bundle of joy who’s just waiting to become your new best friend! This Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix is turning 2 in November, and he’s got a heart as big as his paws!

Jake is the kind of dog who wants to be with his humans as much as possible. Whether you’re lounging at home or out exploring the world, Jake is happiest when he’s by your side. He’s got a magnetic personality and makes friends wherever he goes—both with people and other dogs!

Jake’s also a total pro on the leash, making him the perfect companion for those daily walks or weekend hikes. He’s playful and energetic, so a home with another dog around his size would be a dream come true for him. They can romp around and tire each other out, which is always a plus!

However, Jake has a bit of a Houdini streak—he’s known for his impressive crate and fence escapes. That means he needs a home with a tall, secure fence or an owner committed to keeping him on a leash during outside adventures.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and slightly mischievous companion to join you on all of life’s journeys, Jake is your guy!

P.S. Bonus points if you love belly rubs and don’t mind sharing your couch/bed!
