My Story

Everyone meet the beautiful Betsy!

Betsy is a 2 year old lab mix weighing just under 50 pounds. This sweet girl is very affectionate and she loves to seek attention from her people! She tends to be on the shy side and prefers to enjoy the finer things in life in a quiet environment. Therefore, she would do best in a home with older kids especially above the screeching ages. Betsy had a litter of puppies before coming to us and so she is ready to enjoy her empty nest with her furever people!

Betsy is both dog and cat friendly but when it comes to cats, she seems slightly scared of them but shows absolutely no aggression! Betsy is not much of a player when it comes to other dogs or toys but she doesn’t mind being in the presence of her furry pals and a doggy sibling may even help her break out of her shell! Betsy has a big, loving personality and so be prepared that she could be elected mayor due to her demands for pets from every person she passes in the neighborhood!

Betsy does land on the medium to high side on the energy scale and so her adopters are going to have to be dedicated to expending her energy and keeping her entertained! They will also have to be willing to continue her training and socialization as she needs some more work on leash training and not pulling her person down the street when she finds something of excitement!
