My Story

What better name for a sweet puppy found at a McDonalds than Mickey D?

Mickey D is a Husky/Shepherd type mix who is approximately 5 months old and 30lbs. His journey to rescue involved being in the right place at the right time, which in his case.. was the Golden Arches!

This boy is nothing but sweetness and is a true unicorn- he is dog, cat and kiddo friendly (he’s in foster with children!) He would be happiest with at least one other dog in the home to continue to show him the ropes. He’s even been to doggy daycare and received an excellent report card!

Mickey is house trained, rides well in the car, has good leash manners and best of all.. is a snuggle bug! Yes, he will steal a spot on your bed happily.
