My Story

Please meet the very pretty Sheridan!

Sheridan is a 7-month-old Australian Shepherd mix weighing around 40 pounds. Despite her rough beginning, Sheridan is an absolute love who loves everyone and everything and just wants to be loved in return! She is good with all dogs, cats, and humans, and would love a playmate (cat, dog, and kid friendly!) who can match her energy level (which as is per usual with Aussies, her energy level is high!). She definitely needs an adopter that is dedicated to expending both her physical and mental energy so a fenced property is preferable!

Sheridan came to us by way of a hoarding case and never lived inside a house before going to her foster, and so although she has made extreme strides in such a short time, her adopter is going to have to be patient and willing to work with her on her puppy manners. She is skittish when it comes to loud noises like thunder or the vacuum, and although she is crate trained and will quiet down after a little while, she is not afraid to vocalize her dislike of not being with her humans. She also appears to be a little nervous around men in particular but with some time and patience, she will become anyone’s best friend! Overall, this sweet, loving, and goofy girl is ready to start experiencing the high life and is looking for her forever family to enjoy it with!
