My Story

Klaus is a 1 year old, 60 lb Norwegian Elkhound who is incredibly sweet and goofy. He loves to play – and if you add some snow to the mix, he quite literally becomes airborne!

He enjoys doggy friends who are his size or smaller. This guy is not looking for any large dog friends and is a strong NO on sacks of meow!

He’ll need a fenced in yard or a commitment to leash walking and proper exercise. This is not a couch potato dog, though he could be after a long day of mental and physical stimulation! His ideal home is one that understands his breed is intelligent, with an independent streak! Klaus will often wonder who is the smartest in the room, and will likely vote it’s he who walks with four legs rather than two 😉
