My Story

Everyone meet the beautiful MADDIE!

Maddie is a gorgeous 6-year old Great Pyrenees weighing in around 90 pounds. At that size, she loves to soak up time as a couch potato and absolutely adores affection and cuddles. She may even get annoyed when you stop petting her, and similar to others of her breed, she will paw at you and demand more pets if you stop giving her attention so be prepared to do nothing but cuddle all day long!

Maddie is on the lower energy side and prefers to be in a home by herself or with a kitty as her companion (we tried talking to her about her preferences but she didn’t really seem to care)! She is dog-friendly but she takes some time to accept other dogs in her territory and needs slow introductions in order for her to be successful. However, we think she would really thrive if she was the sole focus of your attention as she has enough love to go around and enjoys being treated like the lady that she is!

Maddie’s ideal home would have an adopter that is LGD savvy and is patient as Maddie adjusts to life as a pampered queen! Maddie would love to have a fenced yard as she loves to sunbathe, gather around the fire with her people, and also romp around in the snow. A house on the quieter side would be best for this girl as she does enjoy taking life slow and is a pro at being a couch potato. Also, just like her ancestors, Maddie loves to be vocal and enjoys voicing her opinions even if you didn’t ask her for it!

Currently, Maddie is in TN and can travel anywhere Big Fluffy goes. All Maddie wants is a warm couch and her people to cuddle with!
