My Story

Gusti is a fabulous 3-month-old Shepherd mix puppy who came to rescue alongside her siblings and is ready to find her forever home! Gusti promises that one day she will be a steadfast and fiercely loyal companion to her forever family!

This girl is a typical puppy who loves everyone and everything. She loves toys, especially squeaky ones and she naturally seems to like to fetch. She absolutely adores kids and loves to play with them. She is also quite content playing with a toy alone. In general, she loves people but isn’t a velcro dog – she has had no issues being left in a puppy pen inside with a toy or in her crate while you run your errands. She has done well with other dogs and she likes to try and play with them, but she also takes their cues when they want alone time. We think she would be fine in a home with other dogs, but she would also do well as a single. It’s anyone’s guess how big she will be as an adult, but based on her current size, I would expect her to be a medium-to-large-sized dog as an adult. Gusti is crate and housetrained and she is doing great at leash walking, too! She can be quite vocal at times, so apartment/condo living is not suggested for this gal! She is still a baby, so puppy rules apply to Gusti. She will need patience, training, and socialization in order to mature into the very best boy as an adult. She loves her puppy zoomies so a fenced yard is required.
