My Story

Is there a more handsome dog than Trooper?!

Trooper is a 2 year old Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix who weighs 65lb of very good boy. He came into rescue when his owner could no longer care for him and we are here to help him find his family!

He loves people and craves any and all attention! He has even lived with children and does well with them. He is seemingly house trained and not overly vocal. He greets dogs friendly but prefers slower introductions as he gets to know them. He does best with other medium and large dogs!

Trooper is very smart and knows many basic obedience commands. He is looking for a family who will dote on him and make him an integral part of their family! He is still a young and active dog and will love to go with you on adventures, play in the yard and engage in hard core snuggles.
