My Story

Suri is a 4 year old, 56 pound catahoula/aussie mix and she has the standard eye deformations caused by a double merle breeding. This is why she looks like she’s been on a three-day bender with the crazy eyes. I do loathe people who risk a dog’s health in the attempt to ensure more blue merle puppies. Suri has normal vision despite the breeding issues and she is a very good girl. She does have minimal hearing deficits but she can hear.

She loves people and she loves to play with dogs. She is fine around dog-savvy cats. She can absolutely climb a 6′ fence, so she must be leash walked at all times and she is not trustworthy off leash. She is well-mannered in the house, is housebroken, and rides well in the car. She is active and would do well with a home that wants a jogging/hiking partner. She is absolutely a pleasure to be around and she will make someone a fantastic pet.
