Halo
My Story
Sweet Halo came in to us from a hoarding case. Because of that, can be selective about other dogs (and who can blame her!). If there is another dog in the home, or a visiting/neighbor dog she needs to get along with, they should be non-aggressive, with a calm or submissive demeanor and no boss-dog attitude.
Also due to her coming from a crazy-lotta-dogs hoarding situation, she wants nothing more to get attention from her people. She LOVES to cuddle and believes laps to all be sized to fit her 60ish lb body. She is very treat motivated and smart. She already knows a few basic commands, like sit, down, and paw. She is good on a leash and what we would call medium energy – she does not need a 5 mile run every day, but she does like to get out and run around to get her ya-ya’s out. A fenced yard would be best for her to do so, as you never know when you will run into a bossy, in-your-face dog at a dog park. But a nice walk a few times a day may also suffice.
If you are interested in giving this sweet girl a home of her own, please fill out our online adoption application and then email Jen.Lu@BigFluffyDogs to let her know you have done so!
