My Story

This cute little whipper snapper came to us from a hoarding case we took dogs (and cats, pigs, horses, chickens, etc.) from in middle Tennessee. Hadley is 6 months old, knee high to a grasshopper and weighs about 10 lbs. Our best guess is that she is a Chi/Tigger, and wombat mix. We do believe that she is listening to either life on other planets, or 70’s rock using her ears as antennae.

This little girl is so ready for a home of her own. She just loves every and all dogs she has met, and adores her humans. While playing, she loves to jump into her human’s arms! Add a word and a treat and just like that! – you have a cool trick. Hadley also thinks fences were made to be jumped. A 5-foot secure fence with no ladder (Chain link) is really recommended for her. She is not trustworthy off leash or alone in a yard. Another well-rounded, fun-loving pooch would also be a wonderful companion for her, and help her learn that there really is “no place like home”.

We firmly believe that Hadley may be related to Tigger as her legs are clearly made out of rubber, and her tail is made out of springs*. With her superior intelligence and talent, she would make a great agility dog. She would not be the first teacup BFDR Alum to join the ranks of Agility champions.
