My Story

Dakota is a 13 week old lab/hound maybe dane mix puppy. He weighs about 25 lbs now. This puppy has a gorgeous shiny black coat and legs for days. He is really affectionate, seeks out his people to cuddle with and is on his way to be an amazing adult. He is working on potty training, he is good in a crate after an intial protest, loves soft toys that squeak and his benebones. He is very treat motivated and loves fruits. He learnt sit with peaches and magoe pieces :).

His sweet personality and handsome good looks got people swooning over him on a recent visit to TJ Maxx and a pet store. Everyone wanted to bring him home and he wanted to be everyone’s friend. He is medium energy, loves to go on walks and then just crashes hard to take a nice long nap. Dakota LOVES dogs and really wants to play with them. So a home for this boy might have a dog thats friendly and playful, a fenced yard or a human who is a dedicated leash walker. He is eager to learn and puppy classes will be a must. He is a cuddler and so his future home with have humans who love velcro dogs. Be warned that the hound baying is there in this boy and he uses his vocals to tell you when he wants something. We don’t know about cats and other animals but he is probably good with them because he is so good natured.
