My Story

Tall, dark, and handsome gentleman seeking love. Could you be the one? I’m looking for real commitment and family, not a temporary love affair. I have had a couple of homes now and though they were very kind to me, even taking me to doggy daycare, they just couldn’t keep me. Could you be my forever? Ace is an 18-month-old, 70 lb. Husky/ Lab.

I am an active outdoorsy guy and enjoy car rides with the window down, playing at the dog park, hiking, jogging, and romping in the snowbanks but then coming home to nap on the comfy human-sized bed, preferably with my human. I am well-mannered in the house. I am a year old so still gets into a puppy shenanigan or two like playing tug with my foster mom’s sock when she is trying to put in on her foot. Do you like tug? I love that game! And I’m a tall boy so if you forget a tasty treat on the kitchen counter I am happy to clean up for you! I am crate trained and love living with other dog friends. I like kitty friends, too! I am a big guy so probably better if I find a home with bigger kids as I don’t want to accidentally push a little one over when I am so excited to see them.

My foster mom calls me Ace because I am a pro at all the things that matter like snuggling, giving kisses, and loving every dog and person I meet! But my official Big Fluffy Dog Rescue name is Aldean when you go to check me out on Petfinder. Do you work from home? I am an excellent co-worker and never bark when my foster mom is on the phone or in one of those silly zoomie meetings where they don’t actually do zoomies.
