My Story

Deacon is a 4 year old, 55 pound scruffy who was rescued from a shelter where he had been left just before Hurricane Irma came to town. Deacon is a great dog and he loves people and he is generally good with dogs who just want to hang out. Dogs that want to be in his face make him growly, exactly the same way I get when someone talks to me before coffee in the morning..We introduced him to Karl the fat cat and he decided he wanted to chase Karl which displeased the fat cat greatly. Accordingly. we have decided to deem Deacon a no cat dog.

Deacon is friendly but quiet and he is not looking for a super energetic home. A sofa and a fenced yard and some snacks will do nicely.
