My Story

Good morning friends. Let’s focus on a gorgeous girl named Betty. This sweet 3 year old Collie mix came to us from a hoarding case. She is pretty, fluffy and wonderful and weighs about 65 pounds.

Betty is a wee bit shy when meeting new dogs and new people. She loves to romp, and will need a securely fenced in yard and a doggie friend to play with in her forever home. She is learning how to play, and really enjoys sharing her space with another dog. As with many dogs who have had no life before coming to rescue, Betty is learning how to dog, and will continue to come out of her shell and wow you with her beauty and wonderful personality.
Betty loves her people, loves to hang with them, be brushed by them and receive countless pets from then. Due to her calm nature, we think

Betty would be best in a home with kids over 10 who are not into mastering the art of Living room soccer, or practicing to be the lead drummer in a Rock band.

We introduced Betty to the kennel cats, and she was perfectly friendly with them. They each got a good sniff and a tail wag, and then our gal went back to her humans for pets.
Folks, this is a beautiful and wonderful dog. She keeps her run clean, and walks well on a leash. She is going to make someone a very special pet.

Betty is currently in Nashville, and can go anywhere we place dogs.
