My Story

Meet Chauncey. He’s a very handsome 50 is pound 2 year old Lab mix who came from a really bad hoarding case. Chauncey did not have many good interactions with people before coming to rescue, but since then he’s really starting to blossom into a wonderful, kind and gentle soul.

Chauncey’s favorite thing to do is hang with other dogs. His forever home needs to have a well adjusted dog to keep him company, and a securely fenced in yard for him to play in. Chauncey is refining his leash walking skills, and will go anywhere his family and doggie brother or sister go.

This dog has impeccable house manners, is crate trained, and totally trustworthy left in the room with his dog buddy and his crate- door open and all. He is fine with cats as well.

Because of his past and his shy nature, Chauncey should to a home with older quieter kids as loud noises and loud play will startle him.

Chauncey is a great dog who will be a fabulous companion for his forever family. He will love you back just as much as you love him, and then some.
