My Story

Kermit is a 2 year old, 50 pound greyhound mix. He was adopted from us as a puppy and returned recently for eating chickens. Kermit joins a long and illustrious line of serial chicken killers here at BFDR world and he is a nice boy despite his love of chicken eating.

Kermit is a friendly, but watchful, dog. He has been sad since he was returned, but he is rebounding and I expect to see a happy dog soon. He is good with other dogs and given his background, they should be medium sized and up. He is not good with cats or small woodland creatures which is kind of a given when you consider his ancestry. He was literally bred to chase rabbits, so please don’t run a rabbit sanctuary if you want to adopt him.

He has impeccable manners and is generally low key with occasional fits of speed. He can scale a chain link fence with ease so homes with secure wooden privacy fences 6′ and up or homes dedicated to leash walking are required. He has impeccable indoor house manners and walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. Kids over 8 would be best or at least past the screeching years.
