My Story

Meet Bonnie. She’s an amazing 45 lb 2 year old Border Collie mix. She’s special, and she knows it.

Bonnie has quite a story to tell. She was hit by a car and left badly injured on the side of the road. Thank goodness for a good samaritan who found her and rushed her to the vet clinic. Bonnie’s injuries were severe, and we had to amputate one of her front legs. She spent months in a cast with pins and screws in the other front leg in hopes that it would heal. It did, and Bonnie is now a happy funny Tripod.

Bonnie is a lover of all humans. She loves to go on walks (she’s a dream on a leash), sniff around the yard, and chill on the couch. She is a world class snuggler and lover of watching TV with her family.

Bonnie’s ideal home should have almost no stairs and a nice yard to play in. Bonnie is fine with other dogs as long as they don’t jump on her and are not bouncy. She’d be fine as an only dog as well. She’s pretty perfect.

Bonnie has impeccable house manners, is fine in a crate and is ready for a home to call her own.
