My Story

Tanner is a 1 year old Great Pyrenees mix. This guy has had quite the odyssey coming from a Mississippi church where he and his brother had taken up residence.

Tanner loves everyone and everything, but he is on the shy side. He needs a little time to decide you are worthy and that you aren’t really some sort of shape shifting fiend come to kill him. Once that initial period is over, he’s pretty happy to meet you. Especially if snacks are involved.

Tanner needs a home with mellow people and other dogs to teach him the ropes of being a dog. He absolutely, positively needs a securely fenced yard and he is not trustworthy off leash at all. He is fine with dogs and cats and will do well in most any home that keeps a laid back vibe.
