My Story

Denver is one of the most lovable Great Pyrenees that we have. He came to rescue with three legs. We don’t know where he lost the other one, but someone clearly paid to have it amputated, and then dumped him at a shelter. Denver is way too special for that. Of course, Denver does not think he’s special at all. He’s just a sweet goofy Pyr.

Denver is a pretty typical Pyr. He’s sweet, loves his fenced in yard, loves his people, demands to be petted when he commands, and loves to smile.

Denver gets along with other dogs. He pretends to be Mr. Shy Guy, but once he comes out of his shell, it’s game on with them. Oh, this takes about 5 minutes.

Denver has been great with the kids he has met, and is great with cats. All around Denver is a pretty special dude.
