Brutus

My Story

We here at BFDR are an egalitarian crew and we exercise non-discrimination every day. While it is not true, as my husband claims, that if the dog has a pulse, we will take it (is only mostly true), we do take on honorary fluffies. Brutus is one.

I am hard-pressed to understand how a dog of this tiny size got the improbable name of Brutus, but there you have it. Brutus is 7 years old (born 9-23-11) and is a 15 pound miniature pinscher. He is sweet, tiny and full of kisses.

He would prefer a home with quieter folks as he is not a rough and tumble dog and while he does enjoy a nice walk, this is not a hard core athlete. Brutus would love a sofa and someone to hang out with. He is fine with kids over 8, dogs and cats. Obviously he needs dogs who are compatible with a 15 pound dog as a 1 year old playful lab would crush him.
