My Story

Thomas is a 3-year-old Spitz mix who is only a petite 40 lbs. Thomas was left tied to a tree at our kennel in the middle of the night. He didn’t know it at that time, but it became his best day ever!

Thomas will need a home with an active person who will take him on long walks in the park or even a run or two. He needs someone home more often than not as he loves the company of people more than anything. He will rub all over you and fall on your lap if you are sitting down just so you will pet him. Kids over age 8 would be best.

Thomas likes calm, small dogs or he would do just fine as an only dog. He doesn’t want to rough house but he doesn’t mind if other dogs around him play with each other and leave him alone. He was afraid of the kitty he met so he will likely be good with cats that are dog-savvy and don’t mind being chased once he’s comfortable with them.
