My Story

Salem is a 6 month old Anatolian shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix puppy. She came to us with her siblings from an elderly gentleman who could not physically care for them.

Salem is on the shy side. Some of her photos make her look like she was present when Sauron slaughtered all the hobbits and is indescribably sad, but she’s actually friendly and sweet. She also has the most amazing rainbow-colored eyes I have ever seen.

Salem is going to be a good-sized adult, probably in the 80-pound range, and she is all long legs right now. She is great with other dogs and cats, and she is good with people who are past the screeching years. She is not overly fond of loud noises which I have in common with her.

Salem is a lower to moderate energy dog. She will need a home with a fenced yard and I think a dog friend to play with. She is going to be happiest in a low key home without a lot of activity. This is not your social cruise director life of the party dog. This is your stay home and watch Succession kind of dog.
