My Story

Josephine is a gorgeous 5-month-old Great Dane mix girl who came in with her sisters from a hoarding case.

She is already 60+lb and will be a very big girl at maturity! She is on the shy and submissive side and is learning how to be a dog with house and crate training. Adopters will need to be committed to the training and exercise of a giant breed puppy and have patience to allow her to come out of her shell.

Josephine is friendly with all dogs of all sizes and likely would do well with dog-savvy cats who don’t mind her chasing to play. She would love a confident dog friend in her forever home. We’d recommend older, sturdy kids as she’s a big, growing girl who is learning that life is good. She loves her people and wants to be a very good girl!
