Hershey

My Story

This brown-eyed beauty is Hershey! She is a one-year-old GP mix with the most stunning coloring! She can be a bit shy at first, but once she is given time to relax and take in her surroundings, she is a sweet, calm dog. She loves affection and is generally a pretty chill girl.

Hershey doesn’t mind other dogs so long as they respect her space — face-invaders and jumpers need not apply! Basically, she can exist with other dogs so long as they leave her alone. No other dogs? That’s ok too. She’d be fine as your one and only. Have cats? She seems unphased by them.

Hershey is a dream on a leash, and she would enjoy daily strolls through your neighborhood or at a nearby park. Being that she is a Pyr, a fenced in yard is suggested. She’d probably prefer a calmer lifestyle, so high traffic homes or those with young kids may not be the best fit. She does have some storm anxiety, so she’d need someone willing to help her work through her fears.

Overall, Hershey is a loving, gentle girl and would appreciate nothing more than a spot to snooze on your couch.
