My Story

Are you looking for a small, young adult dog that is down to snuggle? Look no further, meet Hanalei! This sweet girl is 25lbs, 1.5 years old and looking for a lap to nap in. Possibly mini aussie mix but that is a guess. We rescued Hanalei from a recent hoarding case where she was kept in a kennel outside, but that has not broken her love for everyone. Hanalei loves other dogs and humans, especially one with an open lap offering cuddles and pets. She will soak up all your love and attention. Hanalei’s foster home does not have cats, but we do not think she would have an issue with the felines.

Hanalei enjoys chewing on her kongs/bones and occasionally doing zoomies around the house. Hanalei is experienced with crate training. The one thing she does not like is being outside which makes going potty outside a very scary endeavor for her, so she will need a patient family who can help overcome her fear.

Hanalei has everything to offer for someone who understands that she had a very rough start to life, but she will reward that family amply with the most affectionate lapdog you could ask for!
