My Story

Frosty is a 1 year old Great Pyrenees, possibly mixed, who was abandoned as a puppy in a rural area. We got called when he was six months old and it took us three months to trap him. He had been shot at, yelled at and generally mistreated. Needless to say, on arrival he wasn’t sure we weren’t going to kill him.

After a few weeks, the light bulb went on and he realized we were here to help. It’s been good ever since. Frosty is turning out to be a happy dog who is on the shy side, but becoming more outgoing every week.

Frosty is never going to be the life of the party. This is a dog that needs a home with a very secure fence, patient people who will wait for the dog to love them, and a home with another dog to help continue the how to be a dog lessons he’s been getting. He is gentle and sweet and has begun to show flashes of silliness. This is a very good thing and I think with some more time and dog finishing school, he’ll be a very normal dog.
