My Story

Farley is one of the last dogs we rescued from a huge hoarding case involving a breeder of golden retrievers and other dogs. Given what we rescued, we think he is likely a corgi border collie golden mix or some smattering thereof.

Farley is a 6 year old, 51 pound dog with fat, stumpy legs. He is on the quiet side and will likely never be the life of the party. He is good with people and he needs a patient, calm home to let him be the dog he was meant to be. He is sweet, loyal and has managed to learn to trust humans again.

Farley is good with people over 8, or past the screaming years. He is also good with other dogs and cats. He will definitely require a securely fenced yard as he is absolutely not trusthworthy off leash. He is learning that sofas are awesome things as are air conditioning vents. I look forward to Christmas pics with him passed out on the sofa.
