My Story

Meet Channing. This gorgeous yellow lab mix is pretty awesome. He weighs about 65 lbs, is about 2 years old and has a super great smile.

Channing gets along great with other dogs, but would do best in home with dogs who will let him rule the roost. He’s handsome and he knows it! His leash skills need refining, but that is mostly due to the fact that he had no idea what a leash was when we first hooked one to his collar. Channing knows a few basic commands, and is very treat motivated and will continue to learn once he is in a loving home.

Channing loves his people and has been great with everyone he’s met. Because of his larger than life personality, we suggest that he should go to a home without Teacup(TM) humans. He’s good with cats, but should probably go to a home with dog savvy cats because he just wants to play with his feline friends, and cats who are not used to dogs wouldn’t like that. At all.

If you like to hike, run, take walks on the beach, have a fenced in yard and a tennis ball, then Channing is the one for you!!
