Cayenne

My Story

Cayenne is an 11 year old, 30 pound beagle/schnauzer mix. She came to us when her owner became incapacitated by dementia and the vet asked us to step in. Cayenne is a happy, healthy and active senior dog who does not seem to realize she should be dignified.

She is playful and friendly and she is good with people over 6 and dogs. She was in a home with 6 cats but she chased all of them diligently, so any home with cats should have dog-savvy cats.

Cayenne is housebroken, well-mannered and close to perfect. She would do well in a lot of homes. She does enjoy walks but she is not hyper, but she is not a slug either.
