My Story

So, this is not our standard big fluffy dog. We picked up this 3 year old, 45-pound, vertically-challenged bundle of awesomeness from a shelter when we went to go get a Great Pyrenees. Seriously, who passes up this pleading face?

Carla is pretty much awesome and we are all in love. Her pros and cons:

Pros:

1) Perfect with kids and dogs. Loves them all.
2) Well mannered in the house, on a leash and in the car..
3) Can’t counter surf despite aspirations to get that sandwich.
4) Makes you look like you’re nothing but leg when you take her for a walk.

Cons:

1) Not an impediment to burglars who will simply step over her.
2) Needs help to jump on a high tester bed.
3) Is never going to win a high jump event in the Olympics, shattering your dream of bringing home the gold.
