My Story

Meet Buffett, a 5 year old 1/2 boxer/ 1/2 Great Pyrenees clocking in at 80 pounds. Just like his namesake, all he wants to do is drink margaritas and eat cheeseburgers in paradise!

Buffett came to us as an owner surrender though no fault of his own, so he is used to living in a home environment and has good manners. He is also a [email protected] adult, which means he is housebroken, walks nicely on leash, and won’t eat your couch or chew your shoes.

Buffett is a goofy boy who LOVES running around outside and playing “fetch” with his people. He is an active dog who enjoys going on adventures. He’s great in the car and very well behaved out in public. He is more than happy to go with you to the pet store to pick out his own treats, thank you very much.

Buffett is very polite when meeting other dogs while out and about, but can get a little overwhelmed in situations where there are too many other dogs jumping all over him, so dog parks are not his thing. We think he would do fine with another dog in the home after some proper introductions and time to adjust. Young kids make Buffett extremely nervous, so he would need a home with kids that are 12+. He did fine with our kennel cats, so a home with dog-savvy cats is fine. He would very much like to have a fenced in yard where he can chase balls around and fly through the air in awkward, Instagram-worthy poses.

This handsome fellow is so easy to love! He knows his name and is a good listener. If you need someone to talk to, Buffett will happily listen to your woes while staring at you lovingly with his deep brown eyes and slowly wagging his adorable curly tail. Someone out there needs this boy in their life, is it you?
