Great Pyrenees

Adult (4-7 years)

My Story

Betsy is a 3 year old, 70 pound Great Pyrenees who arrived emaciated, matted and with a collar embedded in her neck. After receiving the best TLC you can get from our Big Fluffy family, life is looking up these days for Betsy and she is ready to go home.

Betsy is likely going to gain more weight over the next couple of months and we would like to see her top out around 80 pounds. She is a sweet, incredibly friendly dog who loves everyone. She’d be best in a home with kids over 6, and a dog friend or two to hang with. She is good with people, dogs and cats, and although she is a Great Pyrenees with all their quirks (shedding, barking at mouse queefs, and sudden attacks of deafness when she doesn’t want to come in), she is a relatively easy dog and will be a good fit for most families. She does absolutely require a securely fenced yard.
