My Story

Beatrix is a 7 month old, 35 pound puppy who is probably close to as big as she is going to get. She is tiny and lanky and very active. Beatrix came to us from Hurricane Harvey and she had been turned in by her owners weeks before the hurricane to the local shelter. We took her out to make room for displaced pets.

Beatrix is a happy, social and active puppy. She wants to play, run and romp around. She has mastered some commands already like sit and down, but her attention span at this age is close to a gnat on a double espresso. She is quick to learn and is intelligent. She would do well in a home with someone that wants a small hiking companion as she enjoys being outside and going where her people go. She will even keep you safe from bugs as she has turned into quite the bug killer and seems quite proud of that fact.

She is crate trained and pretty much housebroken at this point. She is good with kids 6 and up, dogs and cats who don’t mind a bouncy puppy.
