My Story

Folks, meet Banjo Steve! This amazing puppy is an outgoing, confident, loving and sweet.  He’s got some lab, maybe some retriever, and something with adorable ears in his geneology. He’s about 25lbs now, so will likely be in the 40-50lb range when full grown.

Banjo Steve lost his leg after he was thrown from a moving vehicle and hit by another car. We had to amputate a leg due to injuries sustained, but after all that, he bears no grudges to people. He is happy, eager to please, and loves his foster family. He is good with other dogs and dog-savvy cats, and is a people lover.

He is still a puppy, so adopters can expect full puppy antics from him – he can be mouthy, he jumps when he shouldn’t, he is afraid of the vacuum cleaner, and may eat your shoe if you leave it lying out for him to find. He will also give you excellent puppy snuggles and kisses and take you on adventures as you go through life together.
