My Story

In Greek mythology, Atlas was a Titan condemned to hold up the sky for eternity after the Titanomachy. For travelers, an atlas was first generation roadmap. If you’re a new car buyer you may be considering the Volkswagen Atlas minivan. For Big Fluffy Dog lovers, Atlas is a 2.5 year old Anatolian/GSD cross. That’s the one we’ll talk about today.

Atlas is basically a giant puppy. Although we have no doubt that he’ll be able to bear the weight of the world on his shoulders (this guy will be 100+ pounds), we’re not sure he wouldn’t try to toss it up in the air and catch it, too. Atlas has the high prey drive and energy common to GSDs. Atlas may be best suited to a home with any other dogs.
