My Story

Arlo is a 2 year old, 75 pound Great Pyrenees. Arlo arrived with a mangled foot. He had been caught in a steel jaw trap and nearly chewed his paw off trying to get out. He almost starved to death in the trap and he arrived as sick as any dog we’ve ever had.

Arlo’s foot had to be amputated. After months of treatment, we have had him custom fitted for a prosthetic front foot and he walks like a champ in it. Basically, he’s the bionic dog now.

Arlo is perfect with dogs and cats. He is on the shy side and he would probably be best in a calm home with kids past the screaming years. He is the nicest, kindest dog ever and he is well mannered in the house and in the car. He is amazing and perfect and whoever gets to adopt this dog is getting an amazing dog.

He must go to a home with a fenced yard, with people who will be able to care for him (prosthetics require maintenance daily) and in a home without tons of stairs.
