My Story

Alice is a just over a year old, 60 pound shepherd lab something that volunteered to be a dog for us when she showed up at our kennel. She has excellent planning skills clearly as she knew she would get cared for and find a home too.

Alice is a people dog and she is all about pleasing people. She is sweet, but slightly shy initially, and she warms up quickly. The same holds true for dogs – she watches then joins in once she’s sure of things. She loves to play and she is happiest with another dog around. She is not particularly trustworthy off leash and a commitment to leash walking or a fenced yard would be required. She is a no cat dog, unless your cat is a panther and weighs 300 pounds, but we wouldn’t adopt to you then because you have a panther. Kids over 8 would do well with her.

Alice is mastering life as a pampered pet. . She is smart and eager to please and will do well with most anyone. She enjoys regular meals, 72 degree interiors and toys. She dislikes having her feet cleaned when she comes in from outside, spam calls and that squirrel.
