My Story

Alfie is a 7-month-old 45 lb. Heinz-57. We did a DNA test on him and it came back with 6 different breeds, the main ones being Husky and Australian Cattle Dog. With this mix of breeds, I would expect a high-energy smart boy – which he is.

Alfie is good with other dogs who enjoy a rough and tumble playmate, cats, and kids over 12 due to his size and energy level. He listens very well and he is highly intelligent. He already knows how to sit, shake, both paws, lay down, wait, spin, roll over, and speak! This is a boy who would do great with agility or high-level training classes. He is house and crate-trained. This boy would be a great fit in an active household who enjoys dog training and possibly even running. He will need a fenced yard or other means of free-running play.
