Say hello to Moose. He’s a 4-year-old, 100-pound Great Pyrenees, and if there were a spirit animal for “slow and steady wins the race,” Moose would be it. This boy is basically a sloth in a fluffy white coat (which I note is growing back in as he was shaved down on arrival as he was matted to the core). He plods, he lumbers, he pauses to consider the meaning of life halfway to the food bowl. If you’re looking for a jogging partner, keep scrolling. If you want a living weighted blanket with four legs, pull up a chair.
Moose is good with everything and everyone. He is super chill and is great with kids, other dogs and cats. He's so mellow he would help a wounded squirrel cross the street and probably offer moral support while it did physical therapy. He’s got the gentle giant thing down to an art form.
What Moose requires is simple:
A fenced yard (because despite his slothlike tendencies, he’s still a Pyr with wanderlust).
A very comfortable dog bed (the comfier the better and he will judge you if you cheap out).
That’s it. In return, you get the dog equivalent of a Zen master who radiates calm, kindness, and mellow.
