Keri came to us originally in 2019 all the way from Kuwait. She had a fairly traumatic start to life but was rescued from the desert and then through a very lengthy series of events, she got to us. Keri was adopted from us 2020 and lost her home through zero fault of her own.
Keri is a very well-mannered, very, very lazy dog who needs to be slightly less lazy. She is significantly overweight and only part of it can be blamed on her thyroid. The rest is due to being overfed and under-exercised. Keri is good with dogs her own size generally, but she is not good with yippy little dogs. She is also not a cat dog. What she needs is a moderately lazy owner who will ensure she gets a walk or two a day and isn't overfed. She is exceedingly well mannered and knows a lot of commands. At her perfect weight, she is in the mid 40 pound range. Currently, she's almost double that.
If you think you can make a home for a sofa-dwelling, lazy dog, and can responsible feed and exercise her, we'd love to talk to you. This dog is on the quiet side generally and is not the life of the party and never has been. She's a watch true crime docs kind of girl with you.
